What Are Flat Screwback Earrings?
Flat screwback earrings are a type of stud where instead of the usual butterfly back which is pushed/clipped on, the back is flat and screws onto the threaded post which goes through the ear. The post has fine threads and the backing is shaped flat to sit flush against the skin, so when it's tightened it locks in place securely and keeps the front decorative face close to the ear.
What Are The Benefits Of Screwback Earrings?
With the flat smooth back sitting flush against the ear, it prevents irritation, snagging, and pressure making them ideal for sleeping, wearing masks, goggles or helmets, and for everyday active lifestyles. No more earring backs poking into the side of your head when trying to sleep!
